About Stronger South Cotswolds
In a time of rising costs, shrinking budgets, and growing pressure on public services, communities are stepping up - and Roz Savage MP is right there with them.
Connecting people, projects and communities
Stronger South Cotswolds exists to support the people and groups who help make our communities vibrant, caring and connected.
Across the South Cotswolds, there is a huge amount of good work happening — run by volunteers, community groups, charities and local organisations. But too often, that work happens in isolation, with groups unaware of who else is active nearby or facing similar challenges.
The aim of Stronger South Cotswolds is simple: to help existing communities join the dots.
Why this work matters
Every town, village and hamlet faces its own challenges — whether that’s food security, flooding, social isolation, climate resilience, or other local priorities.
Stronger South Cotswolds supports practical, community-led action on the issues people care about most. That might look like launching a food pantry, setting up a buddy scheme, preparing for flooding, or creating new ways for people to connect.
What these efforts have in common is local leadership. When people are supported to take action in their own communities, the impact is often deeper, more resilient and longer-lasting.
What we do
Stronger South Cotswolds brings together information, opportunities and stories to make it easier for people to:
discover local community groups and projects
find volunteering opportunities
access funding and practical support
share ideas and learn from one another
By helping organisations and residents see who else is active locally, the platform supports collaboration, shared learning and mutual support — helping groups avoid duplicating effort and build on what already works.
Support behind the scenes
Stronger South Cotswolds forms part of Roz Savage MP’s wider mission to help communities take practical action on local issues.
Roz and her team work behind the scenes to connect groups, unlock funding opportunities, and shine a spotlight on community success stories. This website is one part of that approach — a growing, practical resource designed to support community action rather than direct it.
The focus remains firmly on the people and groups doing the work on the ground.
Who it’s for
Stronger South Cotswolds is for:
residents who care about their local area
people already involved in community groups
volunteers looking for ways to help locally
small, informal neighbourhood groups as well as established organisations
You don’t need to be part of a large organisation, and you don’t need any particular background or experience. If you care about your community, this space is for you.
A welcoming, non-political space
Stronger South Cotswolds is open to everyone. It is not about party politics, but about people, place and practical community action.
The platform is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, bringing together people with different views, experiences and interests around a shared commitment to their local communities.
Stronger South Cotswolds grows through shared effort, local knowledge and the everyday actions of people who care about where they live.
Get involved
There are lots of ways to be part of Stronger South Cotswolds:

Every contribution helps build a clearer picture of the work happening across the South Cotswolds — and helps others connect, collaborate and get involved.
