Residents across the Cotswolds are invited to a series of free “Strengthening Communities” events this summer and beyond, with activities and refreshments for all ages.

Hosted at local venues from Blockley to Cirencester and Lechlade to Northleach, the events promise fun activities for children, young people and adults — plus free food and drinks. No booking is needed.

Phoenix Festival (23–24 August 2025)
Join the free, volunteer‑run Phoenix Festival in Cirencester’s historic Abbey Grounds for two days of live music, dance, family fun, and local arts–the Cotswold’s only completely free music & arts festival, bringing the community together in a vibrant celebration

Located in the Market Place are the weekly Monday and Friday Charter Markets, the monthly Arts & Crafts Market and the Farmers’ Market, as well as a number of speciality markets.
